Forum goal:

Creating a platform for interaction between veterans, their families, the families of the deceased, missing, or captured individuals, local communities, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and international partners to develop a roadmap for the development of veterans’ policy and tasks for 2025.

 

Consider:

  • Effective practices of state bodies and the Verkhovna Rada Committee
  • International experience in supporting and ensuring the welfare of veterans
  • Short-term and long-term programs, principles and strategies for supporting veterans.
  • Best examples of communities working with veterans.
  • Existing problems and barriers as seen by communities and veterans.
  • Existing solutions that can be scaled up in Ukraine and abroad

We will form:

  • Roadmap for meeting the needs of veterans for 2025

We invite to participate

 

  • Ukrainian and foreign veterans who want to or have already been involved in changing veteran policy in the region and Ukraine.

  • Non-governmental organizations working to meet the needs and protect the rights of combatants, veterans, their families and family members of fallen heroes.

The discussion is aimed at addressing the main objectives of national veteran policy and the roadmap for 2025. It will present the priorities, needs, and challenges that arise in the implementation of national veteran policy at all levels, involving representatives from various sectors.
